How to Make Cheese Ghost and BOO letters
Here’s the close-up : BOO is made with carrot.
<Ghost Eyes / Eyebrows>
Step 1: Use sliced cheese
Step2: Cut out seaweed
Step 3: Use mayonnaise to paste seaweed
I manually cut with food scissors.
For small decoration on tomatoes, I used a straw to cut out cheese like this.
To take small cheese out I used a chopstick to poke it out of the straw.
Use Natural Curves of Carrots for letters
Raw carrots are great to make letters out of!
Use the natural curve and make some alphabets,
“BOO” is one of the easiest letters – I recommend you trying!
Be sure to use a small knife, it’s easier to carve small holes.
If you use ham…give ’em lots!
Instead of giving only 1 slice, it’s good idea to give more layers of Ham.
I used to give only 1 slice (like this bento,)
but thought it would be mostly eating bread only, so I try to make a few layers of ham.
Orange is a KING for making Fun Food
Oranges…. are such wonderful fruit, it’s tasty, juicy, and has bright colors ….and good, soft-firm skin that is perfect for making Fun Food!!!!
They’re strong enough to use a cookiecutter for.
This time I made a pumpkin with Orange skin!
Step 1: Slice Orange half
Step 2: Peel off skin
Step 3: Use a cookie cutter Pumpkin shape, cut out
Step 4: Cut face parts (seaweed) manually. (Because seaweed cutter will be too small ) paste with mayonnaise.
Give a small Gimmick to Bento Lunch Box
If you open the Orange-Pumpkin… tadaaa! There are some bite-cut Oranges underneath.
This Orange skin method is eco-friendly, no waste, fun and pretty (color) – I hope you will try!
Hope you enjoy this Halloween Lunch Bento Idea and got some inspiration!
