Process of Making this Lunch Bento
I first pan fry sausages and cut off fruits.
Let those sausages cool down.
I made 2 pieces of Ham Sandwiches, then I made a Hello Kitty face with tortilla at the end.
After pack all the food, I placed Hello Kitty face on top of a sandwich.
TOOLS I used
Hello Kitty Picks – Sold in Japan only :(((((
Hello Kitty Bento Box (face shape)
How-to-make Hello Kitty Face
- Red Pepper
Step 1. Cut out tortilla to circle shape. ( I used the cap from a juice bottle!)
Step 2. Use a small knife to cut out red pepper to Hello Kitty’s ribbon shape.
Step 3. For eyes and whisker. Use a seaweed cutter, put on Hello Kitty face with mayonnaise.
Step 4. For nose. Take a piece of corn, cut in half, place it between eyes.
Keep It “Round and Simple” .
Say you want to make other characters. Minions…. Pikachu…Winnie the Pooh…
You DON’T need to make their face shape cut out perfectly!
If it’s too complicated – KEEP IT ALL ROUND. Like this Hello Kitty tortilla.
And you only need to add their face parts nicely, then people can still recognize it!
Watch Step-By-Step Video!
I made a video! 😁 ….of me making Emoji sandwich. This is the same method with Hello Kitty, so you can see how I make those faces. Curious to watch? Get a password to log in to my Library page – the video is listed there!
