But once you sit down and go through my this step-by-step tutorial, – it’s not as hard as you think!
I also made a video tutorial on YouTube.
Be sure to watch it – because videos really help!

How to Draw a Rose – step by step guide
Are you ready to draw now?! Get a piece of paper and a pen or pencil.
Step 1. Let’s start from a simple circle. Draw it slightly above from the center of the paper. We’re drawing a bud first.
Step 2. Then draw a curved line.
Step 3. Another line.
Step 4. Another line. This line is touching the top of the circle.
Step 5. Then the last part for the bud. finish up with small line in the middle.
Step 6. Next, we’ll start drawing petals. We’ll draw small petal ~ then large petal. Let’s go!
First petal is skinny one on the right side.
Step 7. On the other side another skinny petal.
Step 8. Now, we’re drawing larger petal – like real flower! Give wavy line, that will help the petal looks like real flower.
Step 9. Big petal on the bottom. Give wavy line, like a dancing handkerchief😁
Step 10. Last petal, top-right hand corner. CONGRATS! you just finished drawing a rose (head part) !! But we will continue to draw other parts, to complete this rose 😀
Step 11. Adding a leaf.
Step 12. Adding a leaf pattern. I’d say 6 lines are good amount. (or 3 V lines. )
Step 13. Repeat the same. Just a bit smaller and draw another leafe behind the 1st one.
Step 14. Leaf pattern.
Step 15. A long stem
Step 17. Then, add pointy sharp thorns!
